Overview
The Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system allows authorized clinical staff to view and update patient records securely. This guide walks you through logging in and navigating the core features.
Step 1: Logging In
- Open the EMR portal from the Staff Portal or visit: emr.healthcompany.com
- Enter your HealthCompany credentials
- Complete the two-factor authentication (2FA) process
- Use your registered mobile device or email for the verification code
Step 2: Navigating the EMR Dashboard
After logging in, you’ll see your personal dashboard, which includes:
- Patient Search: Quickly locate records by name, ID, or appointment
- Your Schedule: View upcoming consultations and patient interactions
- Recent Activity: A log of records you've accessed recently
Step 3: Viewing a Patient Record
- Use the search bar to find a patient
- Click on the patient’s name to open their file
- Tabs include:
- Summary: Overview of patient history
- Medications: Current and past prescriptions
- Test Results: Lab reports and imaging
- Progress Notes: Notes from clinicians
Security Reminder:
- Always log out when you leave your workstation
- Never share login credentials
- Report any suspicious access immediately
